Both McDonald’s and Chick-fil-A needed to ensure new restaurants could open on their scheduled launch dates. A critical part of this was the timely delivery of Openreach infrastructure. Without seamless connectivity in place, store operations, payment systems, and customer service would be severely impacted.
However, working with statutory bodies presents several challenges, from securing engineer attendance on site to ensuring new addresses are correctly allocated. As former Openreach employees, AH Connections bring direct links and insider knowledge, enabling us to navigate these processes efficiently and overcome common delays.
The Challenge
AH Connections were appointed to take full ownership of the telecoms infrastructure element, ensuring early engagement with Openreach to mitigate delays. Acting as the single point of contact, we coordinated directly with contractors and the client, providing end-to-end project management across both offsite planning and onsite delivery in collaboration with the main contractor.
The Solution
AH Connections delivered the telecoms infrastructure on time and without disruption. Early engagement with Openreach and streamlined project management ensured each restaurant opened as scheduled, fully connected and operational from day one.
Project Outcome
‘I’ve had no issues with how AH Connections manage things and are already making the process quicker and easier than the other providers we have used.’
‘Great work as always Anthony and Ellie, you ensure the restaurants open ontime and any issues are raised early’
